42 North Vermont is proud to present the Moose Den at Stratton!

The Moose Den is a contemporary ski chalet tucked at the end of a short cul-de-sac in Stratton's North Brookwood neighborhood, on the shuttle route and a short ride from the Stratton base lodge. The house has been refreshed and furnished by 42 North's in-house designer, with a kitchen renovated in 2021.

The great room is the heart of the house: vaulted ceilings, walls of windows and a floor-to-ceiling stone wood-burning fireplace. The pass-through kitchen has a Wolf rangetop, double ovens and a wine fridge. Upstairs, the game room has a pool table, foosball and a beer fridge. A big tiled mudroom keeps ski gear out of the living space, and the private hot tub is tucked into the back patio.

Guests have access to the entire house except a locked owners' closet.

Please note:
* The primary renter must be 25 or older and will sign a rental agreement after booking.
* Maximum 8 guests.
* Well-behaved dogs are welcome (up to 2), $50 per dog per night.
* Hot tub maintenance is included and the tub is serviced between stays.
* AWD or 4WD is recommended in winter.
* The Stratton shuttle runs on winter weekends and holidays on Stratton's schedule, which we don't control.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued. Grace period with free cancellation (no cancellation fees or partial refunds possible) for 24 hours after booking if arrival is at least 7 days away at time of booking.
